Timeline View Creation
The timeline view offers an intuitive drag-and-drop interface for creating sessions:
Drag to Create
- Click and drag vertically in the timeline to create a new session.
- The height of the dragged area determines the session duration.
- Release to set the initial time block.
Quick Creation from Tracked Apps
- Click on tracked application blocks to convert them into sessions.
- The system automatically suggests:
- Session title based on the application.
- Project based on previous patterns.
- Duration based on tracked time.
Smart Suggestions
- The system provides smart suggestions for:
- Session titles based on activity.
- Projects based on application usage patterns.
- Time adjustments (±15 minutes) for more accurate tracking.

Recordings View Creation
Convert tracked applications into sessions from the Recordings view:
Select Recordings
- Choose one or multiple tracked application records.
- Use the “Create Session” action to convert them.
Batch Creation
- Select multiple recordings to combine them into a single session.
- The system automatically:
- Merges overlapping time periods.
- Combines activity descriptions.
- Suggests appropriate titles and projects.
Session Details
When creating a session, you can specify:
- Title: Name or description of the work period.
- Project: Associated project (optional).
- Tags: Categorization tags for better organization.
- Duration: Precise time spent.
- Description: Detailed notes about the work.
- Billable Status: Whether the session is billable.
- Hourly Rate: Rate for billable sessions.
